St. Paul Orphanage School

INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND:

In 2018, Odut paul the founder of St.Paul Orphanage School met with the 90 mothers from his childhood village (Akol village- Tororo district) and they asked him to start a school for the village. They enlisted him as an example of a good education and they mentioned that their children were taking a long walk of 3 miles to the nearest school. In such a school over 100 children try to cram into one classroom, children would spend the whole day studying on empty stomachs and only 1 teacher for over 77 children. Driven by this injustice, St paul orphanage school journey started; The school opened in 2018 with 4 teachers and 110 pupil.
Efforts in place to ensure smooth running of day to day activities and processes at the school.
